Joel Dos Reis Viegas is a French-Canadian animation director best known for his work for Urbance.
Biography[]
Viegas was born in Montreal, Quebec. He studied 2D/3D animation at CFT Les Gobelins and became a concept artist, working with animation and games. Viegas worked on projects such as Black Dynamite, Batman: Arkham Origins, Godzilla, and Thief.
In 2006, Viegas became the co-founder and art director of STEAMBOT, a Canadian creative agency specialized in developing ideas and concept art for the entertainment industry. In 2011, Viegas started a kickstarter campaign for his created series Urbance.
